Its actually pretty impressive and its sndy beach as far as the eye can see.
It is one of the only roads that we are not allowed to drive on with our camper van. Yep you can drive on it if you wish and people were while we were walking on it. There are only three access points from public roads and each are about 30-40 miles apart so if you want to drive down the beach you are fairly committed to getting to the next place where you can exit. Apparently locals make a fortune pulling visitors vehicles from the beach and it is also possible to see the roofs of some cars burried in the sand.
